salary: $55 - $56 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 11 AM

Responsibilities
- Apply for new state and local tax IDs as our business expands into new jurisdictions.
- Formally close tax IDs and account registrations when operations cease in specific states or localities.
- Systematically review incoming agency tax notices and collaborate with UKG and/or internal Corporate Tax to resolve them promptly.
- Submit, manage, and track support cases directly within UKG regarding tax notices, profile adjustments, and agency inquiries.
- Active participation in weekly review meetings to track open tax notices, monitor pending cases, and align on compliance items.
- Promptly update UKG system settings with new tax IDs, state unemployment insurance (SUI) rates, and jurisdictional parameters.
- Conduct comprehensive quarterly and year-end audits of tax reports generated and provided by UKG to ensure data accuracy and record integrity.
Skills
- Payroll Tax (5 years of experience is required)
- Payroll Tax-Multistate (1 year of experience is preferred)
- Withholding Taxes (5 years of experience is required)
- W-2 End of Year
