Titmouse is looking for elite 2D Animators to join us on a “top-secret,” high-profile production. If you have a passion for sophisticated, grounded anime styles and a mastery of TVPaint , we want to see your reel.

We aren’t looking for “rubbery” physics here; we are looking for the weight, precision, and cinematic flair seen in our Overwatch x LE SSERAFIM collaboration. 2D Animator Job Overview

• Compensation: $1,600 – $2,000 USD per week (Based on experience)

The Role

Reporting directly to the Animation Director , you will be responsible for breathing life into characters and environments while strictly adhering to the established visual language of the show. You are the bridge between a static character sheet and a living, breathing performance.

Primary Responsibilities & Essential Duties

• High-Fidelity Performance: Create 2D animation that hits the sweet spot between realistic weight and stylistic anime flair. You will handle complex character posing, nuanced lip-sync, and intricate timing.

• Style Consistency: Implement movements and expressions that ensure character believability and consistency across all scenes.

• Technical Execution: Utilize TVPaint to its full potential, ensuring all animations are synchronized perfectly with audio, dialogue, and camera movements.

• Collaboration & Iteration: Take creative and technical direction from the Director and Leads. You must be able to digest notes quickly and apply changes effectively to satisfy the creative goals of the project.

• Asset Management: Follow strict naming conventions and pipeline protocols to ensure a smooth hand-off to the compositing and post-production teams.

• Professional Ownership: Manage your own quota and timeline. We trust our animators to take ownership of their scenes and deliver quality work on schedule without constant hand-holding.

Required Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for a specific blend of artistic “soul” and technical “discipline.”

• TVPaint Proficiency: You must be highly comfortable animating within TVPaint. This is the primary engine for this production.

• Artistic Versatility: While this project is “grounded anime,” a deep familiarity with traditional hand-drawn principles, as well as an understanding of cut-out and puppet workflows, is highly valued.

• Attention to Detail: You have an eye for the “small things”—the micro-expressions, the secondary motion of clothing, and the precise timing that separates good animation from great animation.

• Communication Skills: Even in a remote environment, communication is king. You must be able to ask the right questions, provide status updates, and engage professionally with various stakeholders.

• Adaptability: The industry moves fast, and “secret” projects move faster. You should be someone who embraces change and views feedback as a tool for growth rather than a hurdle.
