Responsibilities

• Perform structural welding and fabrication work according to project specifications, drawings, and instructions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical documents.

• Use welding equipment and related tools in a safe and effective manner.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
• Follow all company procedures, safety guidelines, and applicable industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in structural welding or related metal fabrication work.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
• Proficiency with common welding processes used in structural applications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may include standing, lifting, bending, and working in various environments.

Preferred Skills

• Current welding certifications or the ability to obtain them.
• Experience with structural steel, beams, columns, and related assemblies.
• Knowledge of fabrication tools, measuring instruments, and rigging practices.
• Familiarity with shop and field welding environments.
