-Qualifications

•  Minimum 8 years of retail experience in the sale of wine and Spirits.
•  Ability to engage well with customers
•  Commitment to excellence, quality and sincere hospitality
•  Passion for creating positive customer experiences
•  Ability to provide warm, genuine, and knowledgeable service
•  Excellent listening and communication skills
•  Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds
•  Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
•  Neat and well-groomed appearance
•  Desire to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment

-Responsibilities

•  The Wine Specialist is responsible for providing customers with detailed advice regarding wine selections and solutions to wine and food pairings and encourages customers to try options that may have not yet been under consideration
•  The successful wine specialist will engage customers with warm, quality service and build relationships with customers
•  Be decisive, taking the initiative to make things happen, anticipating issues, and developing contingency plans
•  Be flexible, responding with urgency and positively to changing environments
